How to Use MS Office’s Panning Hand Instead of Scroll Bar – Guide
To use the panoramic hand feature in Microsoft Word, you must first enable it. To do so, open the Options dialog box and click on the Hand icon. Then, select Panoramic from the drop-down list.
Enable hand panning in Microsoft Office applications
- Open the Microsoft Office application.
- Choose the Tools tab.
- Click on the Hand Pan button.
- The Hand Pan dialog box will appear.
- In the Hand Pan dialog box, select a panning direction and size of your hand (in degrees). The panning direction is indicated by a arrow in the dialog box and the size is indicated by a slider in degrees (from small to large). The default panning direction is clockwise, but you can change it by clicking on the arrow next to the Direction field and then selecting a different direction from the list of available options.
