How to Use Adobe Spark

Signal up

Adobe Spark is a free service that lets you create brand stories with your own logo, colors, and fonts. By subscribing up or logging in to multiple platforms, including Google, Facebook, and Apple, you can create more complex stories with more control over your story’s content.

Create a chart

Creating a project is an easy way to get started with graphic design. After logging in, you can easily choose “Create project” or select the type of project you want to create on the main page. Your latest projects will be saved in the same place, so you can find them quickly and easily.

Models

The latest projects are available to make content creation even easier. After selecting your template, click Edit this template to continue. Once the template loads, it will automatically save a copy of your projects on the main page, which you can name by double-clicking next to Projects at the top of the screen.

Text

Once you’ve selected your template, you’re ready to start editing. Just click on the text box to open the option to change your text. This will bring up a new navigation bar to the right of your model. Now you can add or change your text as you wish, using the various options available. Here you can choose between different fonts to adjust the font to your personal preferences. Don’t like the size? After selecting an option, you can easily enlarge or reduce the text by clicking and dragging until it reaches the desired size. Below the text option, you’ll find color options that let you easily change the color of highlighted text.

Shapes

The Shapes option is a great way to make your text stand out even more! Simply highlight your text and go to the Shapes menu, where you can select your preferred shape. If you want to deselect the shape, you can easily remove it using the No shape icon.

Images and objects

To add additional images and objects to your page, you can easily select an image by clicking on it. From here, you can resize, flip, duplicate and delete it, as well as change its opacity and color.

Filter

To apply a filter quickly and easily, select an image and click on the filter icon under Image. You also have the option to enhance your photo or apply a blur effect.

Add more images

If you want to add more images to your chart, you can click the “add arrow” and click “upload photo.” From here, you have the option to upload the photo directly from your computer, import it from external sources like Google Drive or iCloud, or find free photos through Adobe Spark. From here, you will be asked to add to the collage or move freely. Add to Collage inserts your photo directly into your template, in preset proportions that can be changed later, while “Move Freely” lets you move your photo anywhere on the graphic. Regardless of which option you choose, you can easily switch to the other later. You even have the option to add more images to your collage, as well as adjust the layout, scale and zoom. ..

resize

With the resize feature, you can either resize your graphic to fit various social media shapes or click “Custom” to enter exactly the size you want.

Save 

When you’ve finished creating your chart, you can download it by clicking the Download button in the upper-right corner of the screen. Choose whether you want to download the graphic as PNG, JPG or PDF and click Start Download. If you want to publish or share the chart directly, click on Share button, also located in the upper right corner. You can choose to invite someone or publish the chart. You can also invite people to work on your chart while it’s still in progress by adding emails and sending out invitations.
