How to Stabilize Videos on Mobile – Guide
The company’s video recording capabilities are typically measured in fps (frames per second) that can be recorded. The higher the FPS, the better the video quality. Needless to say, a phone that can record HD video will cost more. That said, and as good as a camera may be, the videos may not be as good as advertised because the device is not stable when you are recording video. Not everyone carries a tripod with them everywhere and if you’re shooting in a moving vehicle, the video will shake even more.
If you use Google’s default Camera application, you must enable video stabilization. To enable video stabilization, open the Camera app and tap the hamburger icon in the upper left corner. Tap Settings on the navigation drawer. Look for ‘Video Stabilization’ in the Videos section and enable it. When you record a video, it should try to automatically stabilize it.

Open the Google Photos app and select your video. On the adjustment screen, tap Stabilize. Do not exit the application until stabilization is complete. The good part is that you don’t need to upload any of your videos to use the stabilization feature. This may work on videos that you just recorded using the camera from your smartphone.
