Download the Luma app

To start the setup process, you will need to download and install the Luma app on your smartphone. Unfortunately, there is no desktop app at the moment. However, you can still use the Luma app to set up your camera.

Create your WiFi network

On the next screen of the app, select how many Luma units you are configuring up. If not three, select “Other value”.

Make sure you have the Luma drive, its power cord, and the ethernet cable that came in the box. Click “Next”.

Install the first Luma drive

Plug the ethernet cable included in the box into a free ethernet port on your modem/router and plug the other end into the “In” ethernet port on the Luma unit. ..

The blue light will circle around the Luma drive when it starts up, and it will show a message that says “Luma Drive initialized.”

Next, you’ll be asked to name this Luna drive. Unfortunately, you can’t type in a custom room name so you’ll have to choose one of the available options.
