How to Control Smart Home Devices in Control Center on iPhone or iPad – Guide

Access to Control Center in iOS 14 is identical to previous versions and depends on which phone model you own. On an iPhone X or later, you can still swipe down from the top right corner of the screen or tap the screen to close it. On an iPhone SE (2020), iPhone 8 or earlier, or iPod Touch, you swipe up at the bottom of the screen and tap the top of the screen or press the Home button close. How to to choose Home devices to the Control Center
The Home application is open.
Select a room in your home and tap on the Home icon to access it.
In the list of accessories for that room, press and hold the one you want to use
Tap the gear icon in the bottom right corner to open the gear menu.
Activate Add to Favorites to add this item to your Favorites list.
The X close button closes the current window.
If you’re in the Control Center, add a device by tapping on the three lines in the top left corner of the screen. If you’re not in the Control Center, follow these steps:
- Open the Home app and sign in with your Apple ID.
- Tap on Add Device.
- Enter your name and phone number for each device you want to add.
- Tap on Add to Devices and wait for devices to be added to your favorites list.
Swipe down to open Control Center.
Tap on the Home favorites button to access your most commonly used tools and applications.
